I know this may sound stupid but wedding dresses at Costco actually piss me off. To me its like they are making fun of it. Costco is a place you buy in bulk, not shop for something as important as your wedding gown. I would understand Target…Kohls…hell WALMART. But ugh…Costco? It totally annoys me. If you guys have opinions let me hear them.

Costco does not only offer things in bulk. You certainly don’t buy their couches or barbecues in bulk. It’s about getting a good deal. They’ve had engagement rings for so long now (decent prices and decent styles as well), it was only a matter of time. Why are you acting like this is the first time they’ve sold an item of clothing? I don’t know that if I went back to my dress-searching days that I would have found “the dress” there, but lots of women might. The market has become one in which special items are absurdly overpriced (and I get it, that’s what a good business person does), but Costco is merely bridging a gap.

To me, there are two types of brides. Those who have money to waste on overpriced details and those who either can’t, or like myself, refuse to because they know how to get the same look for less. Ones who aren’t aren’t willing to pay $225 for an applique headband that they can find the exact same applique for, for $20 online. You’re welcome.

Let’s not forget that Costco makes some pretty delicious cake, too.
